I've been haunted by a movie since about 1997 or so.
If you're bored on halloween this year,, rent 'The Haunted palace.'
Why.
Because, it has great music, quality people, and it's honest about teh human condition.
As in, being haunted is kind of normal.
Maybe even good.

i don't understand spagehtti westerns

There is a scene in the 1968 Leone movie "Once Upon A Time In The West" featuring a shootout between Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, and about five other guys who want to kill Fonda.
Bronson gives Fonda a 'heads up' that they want to kill him, saving Fonda's life. He even shoots one or two of them himself, on account of, Bronson wants to kill Fonda himself. He doesn't want anybody else to kill Fonda.
Claudia Cardinale doesn't get it. She says, 'You saved Fonda's life!'
Bronson says, "I'm saving him for later."
Why didn't he take a cheap shot at that moment and kill Fonda then?
Why wait until it's time to show Fonda the harmonica?
Just to make the movie another thirty mintues longer?
Maybe it's one of those functionality things. Like, it's more artistic if you drag it out. Seems to me kind of bloodthirsty. As in, the more the merrier.
Maybe i shouldn't watch violent movies.
